The 27th China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival hosted by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, China Film Association and Foshan Municipal People's Government. The opening ceremony was held on November 7, 2018 evening in the Broadway Studios in Foshan. Ms. Kathy Lan, the President of Golden Sun Film Group, was invited to join this grand event. As the stars gathered in the evening, Wu Jing appeared as the ambassador of the 27th China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival. Chin Ka Lok, Jin Qiaoqiao, Song Xiaoying and Du Yuhang was also present at the event.

 

In addition, the Hong Kong and Macao Films Opening Ceremony invited the Secretary of Chinese Film Association of the CPC, also the Resident vice chairman, Mr. Zhang Hong; the Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Foshan Municipal Committee, Mr. Xu Yanlin; the Chairman of the Hong Kong Film Industry Association, Mr. Hong Zuxing and the Deputy Director of the Instituto Cultural of the Macao SAR Government, Mr. Yang Zijian attended the ceremony. The theme of this year's film festival is martial arts film. Actors like Lau Siu Ming, who plays Yue Buqun in "Swordsman"; Chui Jong Shinn, who plays Lei Yixiao in " Last Hero in China "; Li Hui, who plays the role of the ghost in “Iron Monkey: The Young Wong Fei Hung”; Chin Ka Lok, the president of the Hong Kong Stuntman Association; action director Ma Yucheng and actor Chen Xiuli were invited to share their experience.

 

The film festival use " Fist of Fury " as the opening film. Hope more people can relive the style of martial arts movies, also provide an opportunity to cooperate between Foshan, Hong Kong and Macao. The film festival begins on November 7 and lasts for 4 days. The final awards and the closing ceremony will be held today.
