Synopsis
The Three Swordsmen is a non-stop action-thriller set in ancient China. It stars award-winning actor Lim Ching Hsia as “Samuri”.
Samuri holds the position of the greatest swordsman and hero in the war against the “Invaders” making him the Savior of Peace between the government and Central China. To keep everything under control, Samuri and the Leader of the invaders arrange for a political marriage between the Princess and Samuri’s brother. But… it doesn’t keep things calm for long!
Smauri’s position is challenged when he’s drawn into a competition with two new, popular swordsmen. One is disqualified for his position in the palace. The other, played by international recording and acting star Andy Lau, is Smiling Sam. Before the competition, however, Sam is framed for a murder committed by someone disguised as him. The competition is deferred until the real murderer can be found because everyone’s reputation is at stake – Samuri, the King and, of course, innocent Sam. The mystery takes surprising twists and turns as Sam, pursued constantly by the Palace Guards, fights his way across China trying to clear his name.
