Synopsis
Wing and Yi were brother and sister taking the ashes of their Uncle Hoi who had recently passed away back to their hometown in Mainland China. Uncle’s Hoi’s last wish was to have Wing and Yi found his first girlfriend, Yuen, and gave her his remains. Wing and Yi found Yuen in Hoi’s hometown and Yuen was surprised to know that Hoi had passed away. In the remains, Yuen found some love letters Hoi’s has given her when they were still together in their early ages. Reading these love letters, Yuen started to remember their love story which began at meeting each other by the riverside.
Many years ago, the young attractive Yuen was taking a stroll by the river. Hoi who was also by the river, captured by Yuen’s beauty and started to draw out Yuen’s appealing face secretly. Not soon after, it suddenly rained, both Hoi and Yuen were running for a shelter under the tree. From that moment when Hoi and Yuen had eye contact, they fell in love with each other.
Their relationship was going well, but it did not lasts long as Hoi’s family forced him into marrying another woman. He did not want to go against his family’s wishes and accpeted the marriage while promising Yuen that he will return for her.
Now, Hoi had returned for her but it was Yuen carrying his ashes while Wing and Yi there with her, scattering his ashes on the mountaintop.
